This is a great 3cd set of various Dean Martin songs. There are quiet a few songs from Dean's radio show mixed in with songs dean recorded in the studio. That could be considered either good news or bad if you are a Dean Martin fan. The sound quality of these songs are not as good as the studio cuts, but they are still great to listen to. Ironically, it is four of those radio songs that make this cd set worth having. Included are four rare Christmas radio transcriptions of "Baby It's Cold Outside, "Silent Night," "Silver Bells, and the Bing Crosby song "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas," which was a song Dean never recorded commercially. To my knowledge, the only other set that contains these versions is the expensive Bear Family "Return to Me" boxed set. So if you enjoy Dean's Christmas music and have all of his other holiday cds, you might want to check this one out. Although the sound quality on these old radio transcripts are not as clear as you might like, they are a must have to complete your Dean Martin Christmas collection.
