i bought this album for the song Washington Square, which is first on the program. But there are 25 additional songs of all descriptions, all played with the banjo/funky dixie land style for which The Village Stompers are known. The fidelity is fairly good, with good L/R separation and some spatial location -- the horns can be a bit bright on some cuts. All i wish for is better documentation, because the liner notes are minimal, but you can find plenty of Village Stompers information on the Internet.HELPFUL TIP: This cd has all kinds of songs -- look at the track list and you will probably find some of your favorites.
