I should’ve changed them out but their a nice looking, nice wearing business shoe.Used to wear Rockport for work, needed something for a wedding outdoors. I was very disappointed with these shoes, not only are they too short but the quality has dropped dramatically. The leather is cheap and rough and the build quality is subpar as well. However the biggest disappointment was how uncomfortable these shoes felt when in the past I chose this brand precisely because of comfort.This is a review for the "Rockport Men's Essential Details Waterproof Cap-Toe Oxford" shoe. Fits perfect, looks fantastic, seems to be waterproof and slip-proof as promised. I've been walking around outside in the snow and ice and haven't slipped at all (I was worried about this, apparently I had nothing to worry about).The only annoying thing is the laces are continuously becoming untied while walking around, I've been told this is normal for shoes like these. The other thing is while this has Adidas ADIPRENE technology ... it doesn't seem to work, or help. I've been getting tired achy feet after just a few hours at work. I would suggest for anyone getting them to perhaps get some slip in soles to go alongside these shoes.Otherwise, these are probably the best shoes I've ever owned. I got them for about $70 here on Amazon, and I understand these can go for much higher. For the price, these were a steal.Unlike my last Rockport shoes these had a break-in period. Nothing too unpleasant but they didn't get that Rockport feel until I wore them about 10 times. Of course once broken in they felt amazing, and rivalled other way more expensive dress shoes in appearance. I am a very heavy guy and wore my last Rockport dress shoes every second working day for about 10 years. I expect these to last even longer.
