If your intent in buying this CD is to hear great piano music, then this may fill your desire. There are no orchestras booming in the background and you can tell who is a female player versus a male player by the way they touch the keys - delicate, subtle female fingers and pounding, rousing male fingers. This is best played while reading a good book - it's great background noise. (I sure hope that that wasn't the intent when the producers compiled the music list.)
