This awesome talent is the sort of guy I can listen to all day long and not get tired of him. There are comedic moments and always that superb jump-jazz beat, a joyful variant of the blues, and alto sax licks that would define rock and roll of the '50s but was perfected by Louis Jordan in the '40s. When rock traded in the sax for a third guitar, it lost it's best trait. In my dreams I stumble into a little jazz club and instead of pretentious crap it's Louis Jordan himself and I realize someone killed me and I'm in heaven.
